CODY SIMPSON ...THE NEW JUSTIN BIEBER You'd think I was photographing the Beatles by the size of the crowd or by the high pitched squawks of the millions and millions of prepubescent tweens...but no, all the hype wasn't for the Beatles but for CODY SIMPSON! The best way I can describe this little chap is basically an Australian version of America's very own Justin Bieber! Needless to say, I was happy to be there and snuck in a photo pre-concert!
I am always up to try new things so when a certain entertainment company asked me to photograph Alix's Bat Mitzvah, I happily agreed.
Pros: I am the same height as the kids Cons: I am the same height as the kids! Here are just a few ....Enjoy! The Wendy Williams shoot generated a lot of hype! To view where some of my photographs can be seen be sure to check out Robyn Moreno's "Practically Posh" website! Who better to photograph then a no-nonsense sassy gal like Wendy! Last year, I had the pleasure of shooting Elene Cassis and Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B collection for Fall Fashion week! This being said, when I was asked to document this years Fashion's Night Out, I was more then happy to do so! I mean whats not to love? Champagne, high-end fashion, not to mention streets flooded with flamboyantly colorful and animated people! H I G H L I G H T S PEOPLE. PLACES. DECOR. Personally, I found the people who took part in Fashion's Night Out to be the most interesting part of the whole extravaganza I was blown away by the art instillations showcased in the windows...at one point people served as mannequins, see below! As if that wasn't creative enough, check out what I found to be the most inspiring part of Fashion's Night Out, taken at Louis Vuitton:
Out of all the places I photographed for Fashion Night Out, YSL had the biggest commotion! Why? Nicki Minaj. Fans went BANANAS! Not only for Nicki, but for who accompanied her. Minaj's best and cutest accessory? This little girl!
Atmosphere - Scenery - Art Despite the festival being rained out on Sunday (buzzkill), the overall atmosphere and vibe was a good one! Both venders and festi- goers seemed to be enjoying themselves, projecting positive energy all around! Overall there was a very patriotic vibe, why? I have absolutely no idea, but it was pleasantly refreshing! Scenery & ArtWhat's wonderful about this festival is the ever evolving scenery! Something I like to refer to as the "day and night factor." During the day, these artworks appear to be somewhat aesthetically appealing and odd... but at night, each piece becomes illuminated, brining new meaning and life to each and every piece. ANIMUS: ROSE PETAL POOL: KENDALLE FIASCO: BRAINDROP: GAMELTRON: MILK STUDIO ON SITE: AKAIRWAYS: UNTITLED: STAY TUNED!! LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST: PART 3 OF ESCAPE TO NEW YORK!
